Payroll Accountant (fixed-term)
Join our Copenhagen team as Payroll Accountant: ensure accurate payroll, support HR administration and benefits, and improve processes in a collaborative international environment.
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Payroll Accountant to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing HR administration in HiBob, and administering pensions, benefits, and public reimbursements. You will work as part of a collaborative, international team, creating memories that last a lifetime for our clients and their customers.
Your responsibilities:
As a Payroll Accountant at Tour Partner Group, your key responsibilities will include:
Payroll and Salary Administration
Preparation and quality assurance of payroll data prior to each payroll run.
Registration and verification of salary changes, bonuses, allowances, overtime, absences, etc.
Collaboration with the external payroll provider and follow-up on payroll processing.
Responding to employee enquiries regarding salary and payslips.
Preparation of payroll-related reports and reconciliations.
HR Administration
Creation and maintenance of employee data in HiBob (masterdata for employees and time registration.
Administration of hiring, terminations, contract amendments, salary changes, and organisational changes.
Administration of annual leave, additional leave days, sick leave, parental leave, and other absences.
Administration of onboarding and offboarding processes, including coordination with IT.
Preparation and filing of employment documents and other HR documentation.
Pensions, Insurance and Employee Benefits
Administration of PFA pension schemes, including enrolments, terminations, and amendments.
Administration of health insurance and other employee benefits.
Liaison with external providers regarding pensions and insurance.
Reimbursements and Public Authority Administration
Management of sickness benefit reimbursements, parental leave reimbursements, and other reimbursement claims.
Monitoring deadlines and maintaining dialogue with public authorities.
HiBob Administration
Ensuring that all employee data in HiBob is accurate and up to date.
Maintaining the organisational structure, reporting lines, and employee information.
Supporting managers and employees in the use of HiBob.
Contributing to the optimisation of workflows and processes within the system.
Compliance and Process Optimisation
Ensuring that HR and payroll processes comply with applicable legislation and internal procedures.
Contributing to the continuous improvement and standardisation of administrative processes across HR and Finance.
Your profile: Skills & Experience
We are looking for an individual with the following skills and qualifications:
Proven experience in payroll administration, ideally within a Danish context
Solid knowledge of Danish payroll rules, employment legislation, and pension and insurance schemes
Experience with HiBob or a similar HRIS, and confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy when working with sensitive data and tight payroll deadlines
Good communication and service skills, with the ability to answer employee questions clearly and collaborate with external providers and public authorities
Fluent English, both written and spoken (Danish is an advantage)
A structured, proactive approach, with a drive to improve and standardise processes

Additional Information
High Season Period: Please note that during high-season, the workload may be heavier, and overtime may be required. Overtime is compensated as time off in lieu.
Work Location: This position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, with the possibility of hybrid working depending on the role.
Contract Type: This is a 9-month fixed term contract.
